DIAMOND  MICRODERMABRASION

Our bodies continuously replace dead cells onthe surface of our skin with new cells.  Microdermabrasion is an advanced form of exfoliation that uses a diamond tipped head to smooth the skin while vacuuming away dead cells.  This treatment accelerates the exfoliation process to quickly achieve fresher and healthier looking skin.  Most people see and feel a difference in skin texture and glow after the first treatment.  More significant results are typically achieved over a series of treatments.  The results obtained are long lasting, but not permanent, so periodic maintenance treatments are recommended.

ENZYME PEEL FACIAL

This facial features the application of an enzymatic exfoliator, which contains fruit enzymes that gently dissolve deposits of dead cells accumulated on the skin's surface.  It softens comedones and brightens and prepares the skin for any treatment.

GLYCOLIC or LACTIC ACID PEELS

Glycolic acid is among the most widely recognized AHA.  (Alpha Hydroxy Acid).  Derived from sugar cane, it is a natural skin exfoliant and moisturizer.  Glycolic acid's role as an ingredient with and exfoliating cream or gel is to penetrate the damaged upper layers of skin and dissolve the "glue" holding dead cells onto the surface.  Other ingredients then float away the dead cells and a water rinse neutralizes any remaining acid.  The result is a smoother skin surface and a more youthful appearance.  As a secondary benefit, glycolic acid helps to draw moisturizers into the newly exfoliated skins surface.  Cosmetic exfoliants and moisturizers containing glycolic acid may increase sun sensitivity, so many experts recommend using a sunscreen after exfoliating with glycolic acid.

Lactic acid is a non-irritating rapid exfoliator and is better suited for sensitive skin.

ULTRASONIC SKIN SCRUBBER FACIAL -  $75

A sensitive-skin alternative to diamond microdermabrasion or AHA peels, ultrasonic scrubbing can be done on all skin types without causing redness or irritation.  The hand tool pulses with cleaning power, quickly and easily stripping away dead cells, while lifting dirt and debris from deep within the pores to the surface of the skin.  In addition, ultrasonic skin scrubbing increased the effectiveness of skin regenerating preparations by delivering them into the lower layers of the dermis.
